Summer 2022 Revision Courses for Schoolchildren

The German-Maltese Circle is offering German Language Summer Revision Courses for students who are studying German and who are in Form 1 to Form 4.  Each course will consist of 18 lessons of one and a half hours each and will be held between July and mid-September.

Course Form 1: Lessons every Tuesday & Friday
First lesson on Friday, 8th July at 9.00a.m.
Course Form 2: Lessons every Lessons every Tuesday & Friday
First lesson on Friday, 8th July at 10.30a.m.
Course Form 3: Lessons every Monday & Thursday
First lesson on Thursday, 7th July at 9.00a.m.
Course Form 4: Lessons every Monday & Thursday
First lesson on Thursday, 7th July at 10.30a.m.

Note:  Lessons falling on a Public Holiday will be held on another day during that same week.

Venue:  All lessons will be held at Messina Palace, 141, Triq San Kristofru, Valletta.

Fee: The fee of € 100 for the whole course of 18 lessons is to be paid in advance upon enrolment.
No books are required – free handouts will be given during the lessons.
Fees are not refunded once the course has started.
Fees paid cannot be transferred to a future course.

Parents who are interested in enrolling their children to these German language Revision classes can fill in the application form – sign it and either mail together with a cheque for € 100 or else bring it personally to the German-Maltese Circle.

Enrolment for any class will close once the maximum number of students in that class is reached.  Applications will be treated on a first come first served basis.  The use of face masks is optional.

Membership

Permanent and temporary residents in Malta of German or Maltese nationality, not below the age of 18 years of age are eligible for membership to the German-Maltese Circle. Bona fide students between the ages of 14 and 18 are accepted as Junior Members.

The Library at the German-Maltese Circle is named after Dorothea von Wendland, the wife of a former German Ambassador, who in the early 1970’s was instrumental in the setting up of a lending and reference library in the former premises of the Circle in Floriana.
