Conferences & Seminars

Situated not far from the centre of the capital city, Messina Palace offers the ideal location for conferences, seminars, group meetings, training sessions and other events. Available is an air-conditioned hall (* maximum seating capacity 70 persons) equipped with a wireless PA system and big screen projection equipment with surround sound system. Available also are a number of adjoining spacious rooms which can be utilised as an extension to the main venue for workshops and related sessions. The Circle’s Eatery & Coffee Shop is just down on the ground floor for the added convenience of the participants. Our conference facilities are widely used by visiting specialised groups from Germany, by German manufacturing Companies organising meetings for their staff and by local organised bodies.

*  Seating capacity is subject to Health Regulations due to Covid-19.

Standard fees:
Hire of Hall: Euro 250 + VAT
Personnel: Euro 75 per person.   If event is held on weekends or on Public Holidays the fee is Euro 100 per person
Hire of adjoining rooms: Euro 100 + VAT (reduced by 50% if used concurrently with the Hall for the same event)
Fees for other services or facilities requested by client can be provided on request.
Catering and beverage arrangements are to be made with our Cafeteria Manager – no food or drinks from outside are allowed.

Membership

Permanent and temporary residents in Malta of German or Maltese nationality, not below the age of 18 years of age are eligible for membership to the German-Maltese Circle. Bona fide students between the ages of 14 and 18 are accepted as Junior Members.

The Library at the German-Maltese Circle is named after Dorothea von Wendland, the wife of a former German Ambassador, who in the early 1970’s was instrumental in the setting up of a lending and reference library in the former premises of the Circle in Floriana.
