The German-Maltese Circle is pleased to announce an offer of a limited number German language scholarships made available to the German-Maltese Circle by the Goethe Institute for 2017.Each of these scholarships has a duration of 2 weeks (Intensiv 2 Kurse). Lessons are held at a Goethe Institute in Germany from Monday to Friday. The Instensiv 2 Kurs consists of 25 instruction units of 45 minutes each per week. The courses are available throughout the year – though there might be some limitations for the months of July, August and September. Applicants will be required to choose their preferred date, as well as their second choice in case the first choice is not possible.
The scholarships cover the cost of the course fee, all course materials, as well as single room accommodation with a host family or in the Institute’s guesthouse. Travel and any other costs may have to be borne by the participant.
The scholarships are open to everyone. Applicants should be 18 years or over as on the 1st January 2017. Selection will be made amongst eligible applicants, by the Committee of the German-Maltese Circle, whose decision is final and binding.

Applicants are to attach their CV which should include full name, address and contact details, age, information on German language course/s attended and present occupation.
Applicants needs to state the reason for applying to the language scholarship and whether they intend to follow up their studies in German. Applicants are to indicate also whether they had benefited from similar scholarships in the past.
