The Duo Armonioso from Germany will perform a Christmas Concert with beautiful works by a.o. Schubert, Bach and Rodrigo together with famous European Christmas Carols. The rare and exciting instrumentation of mezzo-soprano and classical guitar is in itself enchanting.In the spirit of passion and musical elegance, Ms Knobloch and Mr Steuber promise an atmospheric and entertaining concert evening!
The Concert will be held at Messina Palace on Friday, 14th December 2018 at 19:30 hours.
The artists, mezzosoprano Ms Victoria Knobloch and concert guitar player Mr Martin Steuber have won international acclaim independently. Ms Knobloch was trained at various universities of music in Germany and at the “Royal Conservatoire” in Den Haag and Mr Steuber received his training in Leipzig, Weimar and Berlin, Germany. Together they have given many successful concerts in Germany and abroad and perform at various festivals. The Duo is well known for their harmonious, deep and subtle interpretations.
Entrance is complimentary but tickets have to be collected from the office of the German-Maltese Circle as from Monday, 26th November. First come first served. Seating is limited.
