The official participation of the Federal Republic of Germany in Malta's International Trade Fair was until 1981 taken care of by the German Embassy in Malta through the services of AUMA - the Federal Association of the German Trade Fair Industry. This participation often took the form of general information panels and display units. The absence of official participation from Germany after 1981, led the German-Maltese Circle to offer its services towards the organisation of a German Pavilion promoting imports from Germany and highlighting the contribution to Malta's economy by German industry. Since its first participation in 1987 the German-Maltese Circle always offered a high standard in presentation, in the display of goods and in the services offered making the German Pavilion a major attraction to the thousands of visitors to
the Malta International Trade Fair. As from 2003 the German-Maltese Chamber of
Commerce was entrusted to take over the organisation of this
German Pavilion.
The 47th Edition of the International Fair of Malta will be held at the Trade Fair Grounds in Naxxar in July
2004.
Participation in the German Pavilion is open to German Manufacturing, Exporting, Importing or Service Companies. Goods and services promoted must be of German origin. Stands, which may be manned or just static display units, are supplied on a turnkey basis on a first come, first served basis.
Companies interested in obtaining the Rules & Conditions governing participation within the German Pavilion and a Booking Form (complete with participation fees) can email
