With
Germany being one of Malta's major trading partners, with the high
industrial investment of German industry in the Island, with the
ever growing tourist trade to and from Germany and with the
combined fervour of the Maltese to learn new languages and of the
German-Maltese Circle to provide amenities to teach the language,
it is not surprising that hundreds of adults from all walks of
life each year enrol to the classes organised for them at Messina
Palace.
In
the field of the teaching of German, the German-Maltese Circle is
recognised as an institution for further education. Its courses in
the German language are run under the auspices of the Goethe
Institute from whom the Circle holds a Teaching Commission with
Examinations Licence. The German-Maltese Circle is the only
approved centre in Malta for the holding of all Goethe Institute
examinations.
The
pleasant atmosphere at Messina Palace, combines with the use of
modern methods of instruction and with the availability of audio
and visual media which promote the skills of listening to and
speaking the German language.
Furthermore,
the German-Maltese Circle provides a library with a variety of
books in the German language, videos and audio cassettes as well
as special areas for relaxation.
Members
of the German-Maltese Circle also have the possibility to
participate in out-of-class activities such as seminars, lectures,
concerts, social gatherings, exhibitions, filmshows, etc.
On
the whole, the German-Maltese Circle provides the best place for
you to learn German.
And if you happen to be German speaking, the German-Maltese Circle also
offers courses for you to learn Maltese.
