”A Philatelic Journey through 2000 Years of German History”
was the theme chosen by the German-Maltese Circle as its contribution
in the Exhibition with the title “Building a Cultural Bridge
through Philately” which was organised together with the Alliance
Française de Malte, the Círculo Cultural Hispano-Maltés,
the Istituto Italiano di Cultura and the Russian Centre for Culture
& Science in conjuction with Heritage Malta at the National
Museum of Archeology, Valletta. The German section was compiled
by Mr Günter Korn, General Manager of the Bund Deutscher Philatelisten
e.V. (Bonn).

the participation of German Baritone Egbert Junghanns, French
Soprano Corinne Talibart, and musicians Godfrey Mifsud
(Clarinet), Sarah Spiteri (Viola) and Caroline Calleja (piano).
This event was a joint venture between the Alliance Française
de Malte and the German-Maltese Circle in collaboration with the
Mdina Cathedral Museum Commission. 25th
